Preventing CO2 refrigerant loss

SWEDEN: CO2 refrigeration specialist Advansor has produced a rack-mounted emergency cooling unit to prevent a CO2 system losing its refrigerant if the rack stops due to an emergency.
In such an event the Emergency Cooling Unit will prevent the refrigeration system from losing the refrigerant by keeping pressure on the system.
The unit is said to be very compact and fitted directly to the receiver. Everything is kept inside the rack frame and fully factory tested, saving time on-site. The cooler will easily fit in an enclosure for outdoor installation. It is described as a real plug-and-play solution for 230V with a low power supply.
