Y-joint added to press fit range

UK: Conex Bänninger haș added a customised Y-joint to its >B< MaxiPro press fit pipe jointing system.
The male ends of the new >B< Flow have been designed to be fully congruent with >B< MaxiPro, meaning installers will no longer need to adapt ‘Y’ pieces by creating braze tails off-site.
It is said to have been designed and stringently tested to deliver an improved and balanced flow inside the >B< Flow joint and, in achieving this, the level of turbulence and noise is reduced. In addition, a guaranteed equal distribution of refrigerant is conveyed through both legs, thereby providing optimum performance, the company says.
The >B< Flow comes with pre-moulded insulation and operates with a 3x safety factor of 48bar working pressure.
