Update on TICR emissions reduction project
11th June 2025
UK: The Institute of Refrigeration is to host a webinar update on the Transport Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration (TICR) project to help end users understand and reduce emissions.
This update on June 24 will cover industrial refrigeration (manufacturing processes), commercial refrigeration (supermarkets) and old stores.
Catarina Marques, project manager, will share the most recent findings including how the team are quantifying the emissions from each sector. It will also look at the most significant areas that have been identified for improvement and how the team is evaluating the technologies and practices that will help designers, specifiers and end users to achieve the most effective emissions reduction strategies.
The TICR project is managed by a consortium of partners led by London South Bank University and funded through the Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP) by the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero.
The TICR Talk update will be held on June 24 from 11:00 to 11:40 (BST).
