Systemair India MD named AMCA president

USA: Asokdas Damodaran, MD of Systemair India, has been elected president of the Air Movement and Control Association International (AMCA).

Elected at the association’s recent annual meeting in Dubai, Damodaran becomes the first AMCA president from South Asia.

In his video address, Damodaran  emphasised his goal to strengthen AMCA’s position as a global organisation driven by regional expertise, shared values, and sustainable growth.

With over 24 years of HVAC leadership experience, Damodaran joined Systemair in 2007. Appointed MD in 2011, according to the company he has been instrumental in Systemair India’s growth, driving innovation and energy efficient ventilation solutions tailored to India’s diverse climate. 

He also led the establishment of AMCA-accredited testing facilities in India.
