UK: Bristol-based refrigerant supplier A-Gas has been named Employer of the Year at the Business Leader Awards 2018.

Described as the most prestigious business awards in the south west of the UK, the awards celebrate the achievements of small, medium and large companies, and the people who run them.

Delighted at the achievement, A-Gas Group COO Ian Podmore said: “It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of each member of our team across the world. Our people, culture, values and commitment to health and safety make A-Gas unique and we are very proud to have this recognised at such a prestigious event.”

The awards, which are organised by Business Leader magazine, received over 200 entries this year – a record number.

The awards night last Thursday at Ashton Gate, home of Bristol City FC, was attended by more than 600 entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the south west.
