ACR Awards ceremony now online

UK: With Covid-19 wiping out virtually all live industry events this year, rather than cancel its annual industry awards, ACR News magazine is taking its 2020 awards ceremony online.

Originally due to take place on March 26 at London’s Chelsea Harbour Hotel, the ACR News Awards were subsequently shifted to July 9 at the same venue. With a “live” event now also impossible, this year’s awards ceremony will be held on the same date, but online.

Event manager Steve Bennion described the enforced decision as “disappointing”, but explained  that the health and safety of all attendees and staff was the number one priority.

“With that being said, we are incredibly excited to have a unique opportunity to invite everyone in the industry to join us on Thursday 9 July to honour the outstanding achievements of companies and individuals from across the HVACR sector.”

The event will be hosted on the ACR News Awards website on Thursday 9 July from 16.00pm to 17.30pm.
