Airedale Group buys Flowrite Refrigeration

UK: Bradford-based Airedale Catering Equipment Group has acquired Flowrite Refrigeration Holdings, parent company of refrigeration and air conditioning contractor Flowrite Services.

A UK specialist in the design, installation and servicing of catering equipment in the UK, the Airedale Catering Equipment Group works across all sectors including retail, hospitality, education and healthcare.

Based in Maidstone, Kent, Flowrite is a leading provider of reactive repair, planned maintenance and installation works for all types of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Incorporated in 1992, Flowrite Services was the subject of an MBO in 2012 and was recognised as one of the London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain in 2016.

Flowrite boasts an annual turnover exceeding £10m and employs approximately 140 staff, including 100 engineers.

Established in 1986, the Airedale Group was itself the subject of an MBO in 2013. Its staff of 270 operate from eight regional offices.
