Airedale scoops further Yorkshire title

Paul Golding, Richard Nicholls and Jeremy Hodgin of Airedale accept CIBSE Yorkshire Manufacturer of the Year Award 2019

UK: Leeds-based air conditioning company Airedale has repeated its awards success in its home county by scooping the Manufacturer of the Year trophy at the CIBSE Yorkshire Awards.

This latest award comes less than two weeks after winning the same title at the Yorkshire Post Business in Excellence Awards.

The CIBSE Yorkshire Awards, which were held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, celebrate the best in mechanical and engineering building services in the Yorkshire region, with accolades going to a variety of different people and projects who have delivered exceptional work.

“Winning this award from CIBSE Yorkshire, who work with so many other accomplished engineering firms in our region, is significant to us, especially having recently won the regional business award from the Yorkshire Post,” said marketing manager Darren Farrar.

The award specifically celebrates the launch of AireWall, Airedale’s precision computer room air handling unit, developed for use in the data centre market. AireWall is said to flex output to match demand, using the latest fan and coil technologies to maximise free cooling and operating efficiencies.
