Airedale shortlisted as Yorkshire’s top manufacturer

UK: Cooling equipment manufacturer Airedale has been shortlisted for Manufacturer of the Year in the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards.

The Yorkshire Post awards, which are designed to showcase Yorkshire’s “pioneering, innovative business community”, pits the Leeds-based company against two other manufacturers for the award. The ultimate winner will be announced at a special event at the Emerald Stadium Headingley on November 6, with the event hosted by Channel 4 news presenter Cathy Newman.

The shortlist for the 16 categories was drawn up after a marathon judging session at the Yorkshire Post’s head office in Leeds. Mark Casci, business editor said: “My fellow judges and I found this year’s shortlisting process harder than ever but we believe that this year’s list of companies going forth to the big event to be the best in class in each category.”
