Assessment firm Elmhurst acquired by Phenna

UK: Elmhurst Energy Systems, the energy assessment training, software and accreditation company, has been acquired by the Nottingham-based Phenna Group.

Formed in 2018, the Phenna Group is focused on the testing, inspection, certification, and compliance sector.

Elmhurst Energy Systems was established in 1993, operating across the UK by providing energy assessment training, software and accreditation including Energy Performance Certificates. Services include EPBD accreditation, including domestic and non-domestic EPCs, display energy certificates, air conditioning inspection, and competency schemes such as legionella and air tightness testing.

This is the fourth acquisition made by Phenna Group in 2020.

Elmhurst Energy chairman Stephen O’Hara will continue in his current role, alongside MD Martyn Reed.
