BESA awards return with new categories

Jonathan Lansdowne, winner of BESA’s Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprentice of the Year Award in 2018

UK: The Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) has relaunched its National Awards with the addition of nine new categories.

The 2022 Awards will be presented on October 20 at a gala dinner in the Novotel London West hotel. The event coincides with the Association’s national conference, which is being held during the day at the same venue and supported by headline sponsor Mitsubishi Electric.

To celebrate the return of the in-person format, BESA has launched nine new categories which are open to both members and non-members including Net Zero Initiative, Product Innovation, Competence Compliance and Women in Building Services.

Its long-running management training award has been relaunched as The Manly Trust Management Training Bursary and there is a new Diversity and Inclusion category. Also included are BESA’s regular categories covering the full range of industry apprenticeships awarded across the regions.
