Bob Atkins RIP

UK: Robert “Bob”Atkins, Hubbard Products regional manager, and an important member of the company’s commercial refrigeration team for almost 28 years, died yesterday.

Instrumental in the development of Hubbard’s product portfolio, Bob was noted for his involvement in the launch of the company’s highly successful range of packaged condensing units that are now specified by a large number of retailers.

In a statement, Hubbard Products paid tribute to Bob’s knowledge and enthusiasm for pragmatic solutions to commercial refrigeration requirements. This, it said, had earned him a high-level of respect within the industry and the high regards of colleagues and customers alike.

“We are sad for the loss of an exceptional individual who helped the company achieve many milestones. Our condolences go to his family at this sad time,” the company said.

The ceremony and the funeral will take place under Covid-19 regulations at a date yet to be announced.
