BSRIA offers fan coil testing

UK: BSRIA has extended its UKAS accreditation to include fan coil unit testing.

The tests in BSRIA’s dedicated environmental chamber provide thermal performance in heating and cooling mode, as well as airflow performance testing for all types of fan coil units to BS EN1397:2015.

The testing can be carried out at standard conditions, site specific conditions or other bespoke requirements in addition to product development. Clients can witness the testing and observe live test data.

“Further extending the scope of our UKAS accreditation for fan coil units complements BSRIA’s current portfolio of accredited testing activities, while also meeting the increasing demand for testing these products in accordance with a recognised European standard,” said BSRIA Test House business manager Tom Garrigan.

“The accreditation provides our clients with the reassurance they are getting internationally recognised quality test data,” he added.
