Canadian fittings firm establishes UK base

UK: Canadian manufacturer NDL Industries has established a UK sales division to bring its refrigeration and air conditioning valves and fittings to the UK market.

The business director of the new business is Alex Williams, who has previous experience with Beijer Ref UK, Danfoss, J&E Hall and Wolseley.

NDL Industries was originally established in 1987 as a refrigeration consultancy, operating across Canada, the USA, Australia and New Zealand. It began designing and manufacturing fittings in 1998 after identifying a need for more robust refrigeration fittings suitable for the higher pressure refrigerants that were beginning to emerge. The portfolio was subsequently expanded to offer substantial ranges of HVACR copper and brass fittings, ball valves, sight glasses and driers as well as products suitable for the plumbing and gas fitting markets.

Alex Williams will head sales in the UK and Ireland

According to NDL, Williams will lead the continued global expansion as NDL moves into the UK and European commercial and industrial HVACR arenas.

“At this stage, our goal now is to work with new partners in the UK from both an OEM and wholesale perspective and once consolidated, to look at further expansion within the EU,” Williams said.

The NDL UK sales and enquiry email address is uksales@ndlinc.com.
