Carrier Rental adds VLT chillers

UK: Carrier Rental Systems has added very low temperature chillers, based on the lower GWP refrigerant R449A and a secondary glycol circuit, to its fleet of equipment.

The new VLT equipment fleet, which includes dry coolers and low temperature AHUs, can provide cooling down to -45ºC.

The chillers are paired with inverter-driven VLT pumps with high-performance bearings and seals to handle low temperature fluids. Units are built in a crash-frame for safe shipping on a pallet.

“Adding the VLT fleet to our existing steam and auxiliary power systems gives customers access to a complete set of solutions covering all temperature control requirements from a single source,” said Carrier Rental Systems UK’s director and general manager Marc White.
