CIBSE elects first female president

UK: Professor Lynne Jack became the first female president in the 122 year history of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) at the group’s AGM last night.
Professor Jack is director of Heriot-Watt University’s Royal Academy of Engineering Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Building Design and is also deputy head of the School of Energy, Geosciences, Infrastructure and Society.
She is a chartered engineer, a fellow of CIBSE and a fellow of the Society of Public Health Engineers.
