Climalife joins the Good Business Charter

UK: Refrigerant supplier Climalife has become one of just over 1000 leading UK companies in signing up to the Good Business Charter, an accreditation of good business practices.

The Good Business Charter exists for all companies, charities and public sector organisations across all industries and sectors and works through a simple online self-certification process. It seeks to raise the bar on business practices for employees, tax, the environment, customers and suppliers. Climalife joins such well-known brands as Aviva, Richer Sounds and Shelter.

It measures behaviour over 10 components: real living wage, fairer hours and contracts, employee well-being, employee representation, diversity and inclusion, environmental responsibility, paying fair tax, commitment to customers, ethical sourcing, and prompt payment. It is open to private sector, public sector and charities of all sizes including a streamlined version for organisations with 50 employees or less.

“We are delighted to have become accredited with the Good Business Charter. The standards align closely to our company values and demonstrates our commitment to conducting business in an ethical way,” said Climalife UK MD Allan Harper.

The Good Business Charter is an initiative of the Good Business Foundation, a charity registered in England and Wales. The CBI and the TUC both have trustee representation on the board of the Good Business Foundation to ensure that the voices of business and employees are heard.
