Cook named RACHP Woman of the Year
23rd June 2023UK: Lisa-Jayne Cook has added to her ever-expanding trophy cabinet, picking up the accolade of RACHP Woman of the Year at last night’s National ACR and Heat Pump Awards.
Fresh from receiving the special Diversity Award at the ACR News Awards in April, Lisa-Jayne Cook picked up her latest award in front of 400 guests at the Midland Hotel in Manchester last night.
A service sales manager at GEA, Cook is a multi-award-winning advocate for diversity and inclusion, is currently, chair of the IoR’s Women in RACHP group, a board member of International Women in Cooling (INWIC), a UK delegate to the UN’s Commission on the Status of Women and continues as an active STEM Ambassador.
Norwich-based R A Brown Heating Services, a specialist in the design and installation of ground and air-source heat pumps was a double winner, picking up the Heat Pump Installer of the Year award as well as the award for Domestic Air Source Project.
The latter award involved replacing an oil-fired central heating system and solid fuel fire and back boiler in a 200 year-old house in Norfolk. The company installed a Stiebel Eltron 13.5kW air source heat pump, with a 300L hot water cylinder and 100L Buffer vessel.
Belfast-based HVAC supplier Exi-tite was another double winner, securing the award for Wholesaler/Distributor of the Year as well as the the trophy for Non-Domestic Air Source Project.
