Cool Talk marks new refrigeration society launch

UK: A new regional refrigeration group is launching on November 12 with a Cool Talk breakfast briefing in Bristol.

Little has been revealed yet about the new South West and South Wales Refrigeration Society but it is expected to become increasingly involved with local events and activities.

Institute of Refrigeration events manager Lisa Waters said the IoR welcomed the creation of regional bodies like the new South West and South Wales Refrigeration Society “as they can work closely with members operating locally and can offer a targeted service tailored to regional needs”.

The first event for the new society will see it hosting an IoR Cool Talk Breakfast Briefing at the Mercure Bristol North hotel on November 12.

The agenda for the morning includes an update on refrigerants and a look at Honeywell’s potential R410A replacement R466A, as well as a discussion on new air conditioning developments.
