CoolKit appoints for growth

UK: Lancashire-based temperature-controlled van specialist CoolKit has appointed Usman Batan as marketing executive as part of its expansion programme.

Usman joins Coolkit from Blackburn-based paper manufacturing company Star Tissue.

Earlier this year the Burnley-based company announced a restructuring of its executive team following a record order intake of £20.1m for 2022. 

The company appointed Daniel Miller as new MD in November. He was originally appointed as finance director to oversee digital transformation and growth.

Other recent changes include the appointment of motor industry veteran Mike Scappaticci as sales director and the addition of Matthew Kershaw, an experienced engineer and director of the Northern Motor Alliance, as head of operations.
