CPD courses on condensate removal best practice

UK: Condensate pump manufacturer Blue Diamond has been approved to offer CPD training on best practices for condensate removal.

The training covers everything from gravity drainage through to applications requiring a condensate removal pump. Each session offers current advice, guidelines and the methods needed to ensure the correct equipment is specified and installed.

“We’d been working closely with a number architects and specifiers recently and realised that everything is very specific when it comes to the AC system, except for the condensate removal system,” explained Blue Diamond’s Andy Green. “That area was typically an extremely vague part of the specification and in most cases was left open for interpretation when the job was being put out for tendering.

“For this reason we decided to approach CIBSE and work closely with them to develop a non-biased but relevant CPD offering that we could use to present and the knowledge and ‘know-how’ on how to best select and opt for the correct equipment.”

The courses, lasting about 45 minutes, are organised on an ad-hoc basis at the specifier’s own office.

Bookings van be made directly with Blue Diamond, or through its course listing on CIBSE’s website.
