Daikin looks at the circular economy

UK: Daikin has begun series 10 of its Future Thinking seminars, this time dealing with the circular economy.

The latest seminar series entitled Developing a Circular Economy in Building Services started in Scotland last week, in Glasgow on October 31 and Edinburgh on November 1. A further 10 seminars will take place at locations across the UK this month. 

The CPD accredited seminars will focus on how to reduce the environmental impact of climate control solutions moving away from the “take, make and dispose” model of manufacture and management, towards a circular economy in which resources, waste and emissions are minimised.

Guest speakers are Ant Wilson MBE, director of sustainability and advanced design – building engineering at AECOM, and Daikin’s legislation and compliance manager Graham Wright, and DX product manager Martin Passingham.
