Daikin’s Karen Perry to chair IoR womens’ group

UK: Karen Perry, regional business manager north at Daikin Airconditioning UK, is the new chairperson of the Institute of Refrigeration’s Women in RACHP Network. 

She replaces Samantha Buckell of Bitzer, who has held the position since the group’s creation in 2016. 

Talking about her appointment, Perry said: “Having worked in this industry for 25 years I hope to share positive experience and ideas to support women in the industry and also attract new people through our network.”

The IoR’s Women in RACHP Network offers a series of practical events and talks open to all aimed to improve diversity in the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump sector.
