Director role for Ives in Fujitsu UK changes

Martyn Ives becomes distribution sales and technical director

UK: Martyn Ives has been made distribution sales and technical director at Fujitsu General Air Conditioning UK in a number of organisational changes at the company. 

After 14 years as technical manager, Ives promotion is the first time in 20 years that an employee of the UK subsidiary has been promoted to a director role within the organisation.

In other changes, James Richardson is promoted to technical services manager, Stuart Eagleton moves to focus on applied sales and key accounts, Giles Pratt is promoted to direct sales manager and Trevyn Holland promoted to direct sales support specialist from customer services administrator. 

In addition, Andrew Wheeler, previously of Trane, Daikin Applied (formerly McQuay), has joined the applied consultant sales team adding to the team’s experience in specifying and designing chillers and air handling units.

“I’ve been with Fujitsu for 26 years now and during that time I’ve built up my knowledge of not only the products but also the organisation,” said Martyn Ives. It’s a fantastic company to be involved with and I’m extremely honoured to work with a fantastic team.”

Stuart Eagleton joined Fujitsu in 2014 as national account manager following the closure of Fujitsu’s distribution company, Wave Air Conditioning. He previously spent nine years at Wolseley Climate Centre.

Giles Pratt is promoted to business development manager

Giles Pratt joined Fujitsu in 2018 as business development manager after a long relationship with the company. He first become associated with the brand nearly 30 years ago with former distributor FM Air Conditioning. He spent four years at Oceanair before forming his own business, Soulair, in 2009.
