DuctStation to supply Entalpia refrigerants

UK: DuctStation, the Suffolk-based suppliers of ventilation accessories, is to offer a range of refrigerant gases following an agreement with Entalpia Europe.

The refrigerants include the most popular types, including HFC and HFC/HFO blends such as R134a, R407C, R410A, R32, R449A and R448A. DuctStation will also provide recovery cylinders and a reclaim service.

Based in Poland, Entalpia Europe is a subsidiary of Chinese refrigerant producer iCOOL Group. The company was established in 2016 and has a sales office in Warsaw and a production and filling plant in Sieradz.

DuctStation says its new refrigerant division is a result of a sustained period of growth for the company and will allow it to expand its product offering to the UK HVAC market. DuctStation has also engaged former FSW MD Mark Henderson to develop the range.

The origins of DuctStation date back to 2009 when Sinochem, a Chinese multinational, began to distribute its ventilation range in the UK. DuctStation was formed in mid 2015 when Sinochem underwent a management buyout and decided to concentrate on manufacturing and exports from China. They decided to close many of their overseas operations, including the UK, where they handed over control of the distribution to the existing UK management.

The DuctStation Entalpia range of refrigerant gas cylinders will be supplied ex-works, direct from DuctStation’s UK warehouse in Suffolk.
