Epta’s dragon boaters raise £900

UK: As well as banging the drum for the industry, staff from commercial refrigeration firm Epta UK raised £900 for charity last weekend by taking part in the Bradford Dragon Boat Festival.

The three-day festival on the River Aire in Saltaire, saw 42 teams come together to raise money for charity and have a great day out. The team from Epta’s Bradford office completed three races, coming in 36th.

The Epta team raised £900 for its charities – Cancer Research UK, Alzheimer’s Society and Help For Heroes. The money from this latest event goes towards the company’s goal of raising £15,000 for charity by May 2020.
