FETA lunch becomes pre-Christmas celebration

UK: The annual FETA Lunch will now be a pre-Christmas event after the organiser announced its rescheduling from April 23 due to the coronavirus.

The new date is Thursday 10 December, again at The Brewery in London. Ex-England footballer and manager Kevin Keegan has been rebooked as the guest speaker.

FETA chief executive Russell Beattie said: “We very much hope that the re-scheduled Lunch in December will be seen as a celebration of all that is good in our industry.

“We have all been living through truly extraordinary times and we have been trying to provide as much support as possible to both our members and the government. Our sector has played a significant role in support to the vital national infrastructure and we are exceptionally proud of all our many “key workers” and the selfless work they have done,” he added.
