First Choice source for Welbilt spares

UK: Commercial catering equipment spare parts supplier First Choice will be a source for Manitowoc ice machine and Delfield refrigerator spares after signing a deal with parent Welbilt.

The partnership, which will come into effect from January 2, includes Manitowoc amongst all Welbilt’s catering equipment brands.

This will allow First Choice Group a significant investment in the UK stock holdings, with their warehouse and logistics infrastructure helping to deliver an effective service solution for Welbilt’s varied equipment portfolio, which includes a range of cooking equipment, refrigeration and more.

First Choice says it will be working closely with Welbilt from the start of 2019 to ensure all spares and operation information is up-to-date and a premium spares supply service is provided – this will include trained and experienced customer service advisors, equipment diagrams, parts and user manuals and photos.

John Whitehouse, MD of First Choice Group, said he was proud to be working with the Welbilt brands. “This is truly groundbreaking for the industry and clearly shows our combined efforts to strengthen the supply of OEM Welbilt parts. With our increasing stock, customers will benefit from an even faster supply and first-time ship, six-days per week.”
