Focus on heat-powered cycles
UK: The SIRACH Network is to focus on heat-powered cycles during a forthcoming visit to Spirax Sarco.
The meeting on May 21 will focus on heat powered cycles and the innovations currently being developed and researched. This event offers delegates the opportunity to hear from leading experts in this field.
The event will include an overview of the Spirax Sarco facilities and an evaluation of the value of water steam as a refrigerant. Prof Bob Critoph of University of Warwick will discuss the potential the sorption heat pump and energy storage while Bristol University share the latest technical innovations in adsorption refrigeration. Dr Hussam of Econotherm will explain how heat pipes may be the future for industrial users wishing to reduce running costs and carbon emissions.
SIRACH (Sustainable Innovation in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat) is a networking organisation for promoting new technology in refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps.
