Four compete in RACHP Skills final

UK: Four young engineers will battle it out at next week’s Installer Show in the national final of this year’s RACHP Skills Competition at the NEC.

The finalists – the four highest scorers from the nationwide qualifying rounds – are Scott Fosbury of Polar Air Conditioning and Glasgow Kelvin College, Lucas Hays of Hays Energy and City of Bath College, Adam Donges of Cosham Refrigeration and City of Portsmouth College and Joseph Morris of RMS Refrigeration and City of Bath College.

During the three-days of competition the finalists will be required to build and commission a miniature cold store, service and repair an air source heat pump, and fabricate a heat exchanger.

The competition will be hosted at the Installer Show at the NEC from June 27-29. The final will take place on stand H180, with WorldSkills UK squad training on stand H177.
