FSW to distribute Bock compressors

UK: FSW has been appointed authorised distribution partner for Bock compressors in the UK and Ireland.

The move follows GEA’s sale of the refrigeration compressor business to German private equity business Nord Holding last September. Founded in 1932, Bock was originally acquired by GEA in 2011.

With its headquarters in Frickenhausen, Germany, Bock is a leading supplier of open and semi-hermetic piston compressors in the lower and medium refrigeration capacity range for stationary and transport-related cooling applications.

Beverley Nash, GEA Refrigeration UK’s sales co-ordinator for the last 11 years, moves across to FSW to continue responsibility for sales of the Bock range across the wholesaler’s network.

“We are confident that Beverley’s appointment will provide a smooth transition for companies previously dealing with GEA and for the availability of product through FSW,” commented FSW MD Graham Hill.

“The Bock range is a prestige product and one that we are now proud to have as part of the FSW portfolio.  We look forward to working closely with Bock of the coming years to expand its presence in the UK and Ireland,” he added.
