Fujitsu and Star score hat-tricks in National ACR awards
UK: Star Refrigeration and Fujitsu General Air Conditioning UK each scored a hat-trick of trophies at last night’s National ACR and Heat Pump Awards in Manchester.
The annual awards organised by ACR Journal saw Glasgow-based Star Refrigeration win the Refrigeration Project, Refrigeration Product and Chiller Product of the Year categories. This triple-win was matched by Fujitsu which picked up the ACR Heat Pump Ancillary, ACR Product and ACR Project awards.
The 400 guests at Manchester’s Midland Hotel also applauded Steve Gill for being named 2020 ACR Champion, as well as for picking up the Marketing Initiative of the Year award for his involvement in establishing World Refrigeration Day.
Also notable among a list of 20 awards, Professor Judith Evans of London South Bank University was named ACR Woman of the Year.
