Fujitsu at the double

New appointments: Gary Stanley (left) and John Thompson

UK: Fujitsu Air Conditioning (UK) has appointed John Thompson as area business development manager and Gary Stanley as distribution account manager (North).

John Thompson joins Fujitsu with a wealth of industry knowledge, having worked in the air conditioning sector for more than 20 years. Joining Fujitsu from Powrmatic, where he was area sales manager, he previously spent over 13 years at the now defunct SWM Distribution and nearly five years as regional sales manager (Scotland) at Hitachi Europe.

In his new role, Thompson will be responsible for driving sales both in VRF and split systems, as well as raising awareness of the company with building services engineers throughout Scotland.

Gary Stanley’s role will involve building and maintaining customer relationships, promoting Fujitsu products and services, developing new business, and supporting distributors and staff. Based from home, he will oversee the North of England and some parts of Scotland. Prior to joining Fujitsu, Gary was in The British Army for 32 years.
