Gel-Clear celebrates 10 years

UK: Gel-Clear, the manufacturer of HVACR drainage efficiency products for the retail food industry, has celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special celebratory dinner for staff and customers.

Gel-Clear was founded on 17 September 2012 after company founder Paurick Gaughan discovered a company with a patented solution for biofilms in nuclear bunker drinking water tanks. Gaughan partnered with them to create a tablet-based solution to fix biofilm blockages in retail cabinet condensate drains.

Such was the success of the product that Gel-Clear went on to develop and manufacture other products and picked up six industry awards for its innovative products along the way.

The company now sells its tablets in 15 countries worldwide in partnership with the Sauermann Group.

Last week the company celebrated its success with a celebratory dinner, disco and cabaret at the Astley Bank Hotel and Conference Centre in Gel-Clear’s hometown of Darwen, Lancashire.

“It was great to celebrate and look back at the journey, and to look forward to the future, showing some of our ideas for the next ten years,” commented Paurick Gaughan.
