Golf day boost for Adcock’s charity

Individual winner Andy Price with Adcock MD Nigel Claydon (left) and Dean Ashton

UK: Cambridgeshire-based contractor Adcock Refrigeration and Air Conditioning raised over £300 towards its target of £10,000 for motor neurone disease at its golf day at Ufford Park, Suffolk, last week.

Sponsored by Daikin UK, the 18-hole stableford event attracted teams from Hutton Construction, Savills, Bidwells, Munros, Bower Fuller, Planned Office Interiors, Border Consultancy and the Portman Dental Group.

Individual winner on the day was 28-handicap Andy Price branch manager for Adcock’s Bromsgrove office, who scored 39 points, playing off the whites. The winning team was Hutton Construction. Ex-England footballer Dean Ashton provided the after dinner entertainment.

The Motor Neurone Disease Association is Adcock’s chosen charity for 2022 in memory of former Adcock service support engineer Neil Mustoe. The company is now seeking support for the Three Peaks Challenge it is attempting in September. Potential sponsors can support the attempt here
