Gordon Shanks wins Kooltech Award

UK: Gordon Shanks MD and founder of Elgin Refrigeration was recognised for his contribution to the industry at tonight’s IoR Scotland dinner in Glasgow.

Shanks received the annual Kooltech Award for the most outstanding contribution to the Scottish refrigeration industry from Kooltech MD Murray Sharp at tonight’s sell-out dinner at the Crowne Plaza. He received a £200 cash prize and the Kooltech medal.

A runner up in this year’s BESA Scotland Apprentice awards, KB Refrigeration’s Connor Davidson went one better by being named as the IoR Scotland Apprentice of the Year.

As this year’s winner, Connor received £500, along with a refrigeration text book and a year’s subscription to the IoR Service Engineers section.
