HSH Cold Stores to buy ACS&T

UK: HSH Cold Stores has reached agreement to acquire Associated Cold Stores & Transport Ltd.

Associated Cold Stores & Transport (ACS&T), a subsidiary of Camellia PLC, was founded in 1921 and operates from three locations – Grimsby, Tewkesbury, and Wolverhampton.

HSH Coldstores is a subsidiary of Constellation Cold Logistics, the third largest provider of cold storage in Europe, offering over 500,000 pallet spaces across 21 facilities in six countries – Belgium, France, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the UK. It currently operates five storage sites and has a fleet of over 40 LGV lorries.

The acquisition will expand HSH’s strategic presence across the UK, increasing the company’s storage capacity to around 140,000 pallet positions. In addition, the acquisition will boost HSH’s offering of temperature-controlled distribution services, which grows to 75 LGV lorries when including HSH and ACS&T’s existing fleets.
