Hubbard plans move to new site

Ilias Katsoulis: “This exciting and innovative site will create the perfect environment for excellence in manufacturing”

UK: Ipswich-based refrigeration equipment manufacturer Hubbard Products has broken ground on a new 7,400m2 facility in Ipswich.

The new site at Futura Park is just 2km from its current 4,600m2 r&d and manufacturing facility on Ransomes Europark. It is planned to relocate in early 2021.

A member of the Daikin group since 2016, the new development is said to be necessary to meet Daikin’s global production standards as part of the Japanese manufacturer’s Fusion 2025 plan for business expansion in the UK and Europe.

“We welcome the opportunities this exciting and innovative site will bring in creating the perfect environment for excellence in manufacturing, quality and improved efficiency,” commented Hubbard Products CEO Ilias Katsoulis. “The development will generate new value for Hubbard’s blue-chip customers as well as the local community, by providing advanced products and job opportunities for the next five years and beyond.”
