Hurley appointed HPA chairman

UK: Phil Hurley, NIBE Energy Systems’ UK MD, is the new chairman of the Heat Pump Association (HPA), replacing Daikin UK’s Graham Wright, who steps down after his two-year term.
Max Halliwell, communications manager at Mitsubishi Electric is the new vice-chairman.
Phil Hurley has been MD of NIBE Energy Systems since 2006. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Georg Fischer, latterly as national sales manager.
During his tenure, Graham Wright oversaw some major breakthroughs for the heat pump industry and steered the HPA in helping to push the UK towards a carbon neutral future.
