HVACR Show moves to April

UK: Next year’s HVACR Show at ExCel has been moved to April to align it closer to London Climate Action Week announced on Friday by Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.

The event was originally scheduled to take place at ExCel from January 21-23.

In a letter to exhibitors, show organiser Datateam said it had been asked to be involved with the London Climate Action initiative. The ExCel exhibition centre is planning to be one of the major 2020 event hubs.

“After much discussion with and support from major industry brands, it has been agreed to move the show date to 20-22 April 2020, ExCel, London. This will align the show closer to Climate action week events held at ExCel London 2020,” it said.

London Climate Action, announced by Sadiq Khan on Friday, will take place from 1-8 July 2019. The action week includes plans for hundreds of events, activities and seminars looking at climate change solutions, promoting green business development and investment. Events will explore clean energy and energy efficiency; zero emission transport; adaptation and resilience; climate finance and investment; and campaigning for stronger legislation and engineering.
