ICS adds R1234ze heat pumps to hire fleet

UK: ICS Cool Energy has expanded its i-FH rental fleet with new water-to-water heat pumps running on R1234ze.

The new i-FH (industrial free heating) heat pumps provide up to 400kW of heating capacity and can deliver hot water at temperatures between 50°C and 80°C.

Sourcing energy from waste-water or geothermal systems at 5ºC to 30°C, the units match conventional heating system requirements and are designed for applications like high temperature heating, sanitary hot water supplies, district heating and heat recovery cascades. Of compact design, the new units are said to fit restricted spaces and are easy to move and install.

“With concerns around rising energy costs and with growing sustainability efforts, we help our customers relieve their operational pressures. The new units in our i-FH free heating portfolio represent another step for us in the journey to offering most sustainable and most efficient heating solutions,” said Dave Palmer, ICS Cool Energy’s general manager for UK and Ireland.

ICS Cool Energy is a member of the Trane Technologies group.
