IoR goal is 100 female members by June

UK: The Institute of Refrigeration is looking to grow its female membership to 100 to celebrate the Women’s Engineering Society’s 100th anniversary in June.

Since getting involved with the Women in RACHP network, the IOR has grown female membership significantly with the organisation now counting 48 women as members. Now the IoR’s 100 before a 100 campaign seeks to increase its female membership to 100 by June 23.

The IoR says there are numerous advantages to joining including recognition of your status in the sector with initials after your name and regular newsletters and bulletins on the latest developments in the sector. Those working in a non-technical role can also join with an affiliate membership which gives regular sector updates to RACHP staff working in admin, HR or marketing roles.

Applications can be made online at https://www.ior.org.uk/membership
