IoR seeks outstanding engineer nominations

UK: The Institute of Refrigeration is inviting nominations for its Lifetime Achievement Award to recognise exceptional air conditioning and refrigeration engineers.

The annual Lifetime Achievement Award aims to celebrate outstanding individuals who have spent their career in the field as a hands-on service, maintenance, installation or commissioning engineer.

The IoR is particularly interested in hearing about engineers who took on extra responsibilities during their working life including as mentoring young technicians, giving toolbox talks to branches or colleges, or sharing their vast accumulated knowledge through internal bulletins or trade press articles.

The winner will receive a cash prize of £400, an engraved trophy and a certificate. Nominations close on 28 March 2021.

Visit the IoR website to find out more and to take part in the nominations.
