IoR to celebrate cool careers

UK: The Institute of Refrigeration (IoR) is planning to support the careers theme of this year’s World Refrigeration Day with an online Cool Careers Celebration on June 24.

The Institute is looking for sponsors of the free event which will include presentations from young engineers sharing their experience of joining the sector with hosted discussions on the benefits of a career in RACHP engineering. The event will also include research students discussing their innovative research and explaining the impact it could have on the future of refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump technologies during a Three Minute Thesis session.

Attendees will also hear from IoR president, Mike Creamer on the Institute’s plans to support training and careers promotion activities in the coming year.
