IoR waives joining fee to support initiatives

The IoR is seeking to attract more female members

UK: The Institute of Refrigeration is waiving its £49.00 joining fee for new members in support of three new initiatives.

The IoR wants the whole of the industry to get behind three new ideas designed to encourage more involvement in our industry – the IoR’s formation of a Young Engineers Network, the Women in RACHP 100 for 100 campaign and World Refrigeration Day.

To support the new initiatives the IOR has announced that it is waiving the £49.00 joining fee element of the first year’s membership fee for new members until June 26 when World Refrigeration Day is taking place.

The IoR’s Young Engineers Network seeks to provide a forum for the industry’s future leaders to come together for networking, talks, industry tours and debates.

The 100 for 100 campaign seeks to grow the IoR’s female membership to 100 to celebrate the Women’s Engineering Society’s 100th anniversary on June 23.

IOR membership is open to everyone – including people working in non-technical support roles (affiliate), recent graduates with limited experience (associate), and F-gas qualified technicians.
