IoR webinar explores low GWP refrigerants

UK: The future of refrigerants with a GWP below 150 will be discussed in a webinar next month organised by the Institute of Refrigeration.

A number of short presentations will be followed by discussion from a panel of experts with questions invited from attendees.

Presentations will cover a number of equipment sectors including commercial, industrial and transport refrigeration, plug-in cabinets and VRF and split system air conditioners. Presenters will include Richard Lawton of Cambridge Refrigeration Technology, Rob Lamb of Star Refrigeration, Geoff Mills of Epta and refrigeration advisor Nick Franzen.

The experts will explore which ultra-low GWP refrigerants they believe will be available and suitable for use in their sector. They will discuss what their consideration will be when choosing refrigerant and what options they believe are the most suitable for their sector and why.

The 90 minute webinar takes place on April 15 at 16.00 (GMT).

The webinar is free to attend and all those registering will receive a recording of the broadcast even if they are unable to join the live meeting.
