John Lilburn RIP

UK: FETA has informed us of the sad passing of refrigeration industry veteran John Lilburn. He was 72.

After an early career in the Merchant Navy, John joined Craig Nicol in 1988, shortly before its acquisition by Hussmann. When the Glasgow Hussmann factory closed and the business transferred to Milton Keynes, John was transferred with them as technical manager with Hussmann Europe.   

After 17 years with the company, John left to start his own consultancy Cool Solutions in 2004.

During his time in the industry, John participated in the work of the BRA refrigerated display cabinet section for over 25 years, offering his expertise on a variety of projects.
