John Smith set to retire

UK: Beijer Ref UK and Ireland technical director John Smith is set to retire from his full time duties this month after nearly 40 years in the industry.

John’s passion for the industry started back in 1983 when he joined refrigeration company HTI Leeds as an electrician. Within his industry career he has held several high profile positions with companies including Danfoss and Honeywell. He has been with Beijer Ref, initially Dean & Wood, for the last 17 years.

During his career her has also served as chairman of FETA and president of the BRA.
