John Tiernan becomes Waterloo MD

UK: Operations director John Tiernan has been promoted to managing director of Kent-based Waterloo Air Products.

The change sees Rick Edmondson stepping down as chairman after almost 35 years with the company to be replaced by his brother and former MD Ron Edmondson.

Tiernan joined Waterloo four years ago.

“These are exciting times for Waterloo,” commented Ron Edmondson. “After a record year in 2017, we are in a strong position. One of the long-term projects has been the implementation of a new software system at Waterloo, and that’s now in place. This makes it a great time to ensure a smooth handover to John.”
