Kooltech climbers raise £2,367

The climbing team (l to r): Russell Gibb, Billy Thomson, Danny Watson, Ryan Gray, Iain McKinlay, Jane Magill, Gary Clark, Leona Murray, Steve Donnell

UK: A team from Kooltech Glasgow climbed Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Britain, to raise £2,367 for charity.

The 4,500ft climb – over 7 miles, followed by a 7 mile descent – was in aid of Calum’s Cabin, a purpose-built countryside retreat on the Isle of Bute. This self-catering accommodation provides respite and time to make irreplaceable memories for children suffering from cancer along with their families.

Billy Thomson, from Kooltech’s Scotland project sales team, said: “It was the hardest thing I’ve done since having two daughters.”
